5,000

As of today, that's the number of accounts people have registered on YWO! Needless to say, this is a huge achievement! New forums are created every day. Few live long enough to reach 100 members, but 5,000 is an incredible feat.

A big thank you to all our members past and present for helping YWO reach this goal.

The 5000th. Somebody welcome him.

This is wonderful and dramatic.

I already did welcome him/her. I had thought that maybe there had been another member after this one, so I wouldn't know who the 5000th was, but then I saw that there were still only 5000, so that made it easy.

EDIT: Wait a second... When there were 5000 members exactly, Star Teardrop was the brand-new-bie. So why is it saying that this other guy is the 5000th?

Hang on, hypothesis here. "5000 members" in the members list does not include banned members, but in the ends of the urls it does. I'm guessing.

Nifty. (<-- God, I hate that word) I guess I should be proud to have referred 2 of those 5,000 people. Although I should also be ashamed that neither of those people still uses the site.
