I started at 15, in high school. I really didn't like reading or writing until then. School was presenting it all wrong...

Erm...I started one or two years ago. As you guys can see...I'm not that much of an expert. But, I'm getting there. I, mean, I've got art to practice on as well, so it's a challenge splitting my time between both

This should be divided or there should be another poll that says "When did you start taking it seriously?"

I've been writing my whole life, but I didn't start taking it with any seriousness until Senior year of high school and not until I was 19 did I actually sit down and say "I want to write for a living or be published some day". But I've written stories my whole life just for kicks...

In terms of not being serious about writing...I probably started around 14, one year before I got serious

Especially when all they make you write are essays

Kindergarden, I found that out when I found my old scrap book and it said "I lik riting horor storis for fun" in REALLY bad printing. DAMN, everything about me is cute
