I wish everyone, who is doing NaNo this year- good luck!

Have you found the idea you will be writing about? Do you have characters and plot? Or are you a "everything in the last minute" person and still don't know what you will write?

Two dead boys rose up to fight.
Back to back, they faced each other,
Drew their swords, and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise
And came and killed those two dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie is true
Just ask the blind man -- he saw it too.

I just looked it up -it sounds a lot of fun and I think that my participation in it (yes ,I decided to sign up for it) would do me a great deal of good cause unlinke others ,I wrote so rarerly(due to a lack of time and willingness) that I think that the pressure to write so much would actually help me not be so easily discouraged.

I am not a "everything in the last minute" person (or so I like to belive) but I am not fully organised when I have other things in my mind (like school and exams) so I would say am a "everything in the last two minutes" person. However I am quite sure that my protagoniste would be a girl and maybe it would have something with supernatural.

I shall totally give it a try. And I plan to WIN. I especially love how there aren't many stupid rules about fonts and formats and cover letters that scare you so you end up not submitting. It's actually user-friendly. How awesome!

Although, it'll be hard to get any writing done between the time spent doing homework and the time spent being mad at myself for procrastinating...

Soooooooo, we have like three days left until this all kicks off, how about we organise some word wars to help us get to our daily quotas?

For those who don't know: word wars would be held in the chatroom, where everyone joining in will meet and set an amount of time to go away and write (about 10-20 minutes) then whoever has written the most words at the end of that time limit, wins the war, it's as simple as that, and helps you get quickly up to your quota as well as providing extra motivation.

What say you?

If someone has the time, we could set up an official YWO NaNo here, with awards and what not. No joke. We can even make a temporary forum section for it.

Umm, just a subforum I think would suffice. Then we could have update threads, help threads, etc, a word war thread and everyone could have their own nano-blog thread for ranting about what's happening? I can't think of anything else we'd need, but I don't know if someone hasn't already PMed you, they might have better ideas, haha.

Also - what are everyone's usernames on the Nnao site?

I was Blue-Orange, but I've made a new account because it's easier to be Lykaios as everyone knows me by that name: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/718034

Add meeeee.
