My name is Stori Lee, and before doing anything else, letís get something straight:

I am a Smart-Ass, and proud of it.

Now, I know that some of you might not like that kind of person, but let me explain what I mean by smart-ass before you start getting mad. I am cynical and sarcastic, and sometimes melodramatic, however, I never, NEVER try to hurt someoneís feelings. If I make a comment that upsets you, or that could be seen as offensive, then please, tell me so. Itíll just make things worse if you donít.

I try to keep my cynical/sarcastic/smart-ass jokes just that Ė jokes. Things that everyone can look and laugh at. Sure, sometimes I might direct the comment on someone else, but I never do it to make them angry or anything Ė and I always try to make sure I make them at my friends and people who I know have a good sense of humor.

Most of the time, though, the comments will be directed/about myself. Why, you ask? Because directing those kinds of comments at myself gives me a very good laugh Ė Gallows Humor rules.

Anyway, with that out of the way, I can move onwards with this bio.

So, like I said, my name is Stori Lee. I have brown hair, blue eyes, a funky smile/grin, and a really weird, but all-the-more infectious laugh (meaning when I laugh, others do too; just like what happens when I yawn). My family says I have an unlimited tolerance of disrespect. My friends just say I canít be offended. I personally think that itís more a difference of opinion; what I consider to be disrespectful or offensive, must not be the same as what you consider to be so.

Basically, you can say whatever the hell you want about me and I wonít give a damn.

I like reading, writing, crocheting, knitting, going on my computer, being bribed/bribing others, and hanging out with my friends/family. As for the kinds of things I prefer when doing all of those (i.e. the kinds of things I like to read/write/crochet/ect.), I think Iíll make it easier on myself and give you a list.

Here we go:

Reading: Fantasy is my favorite, but pretty much any type of fiction is alright with me. Just so long as itís not a romance novel. XP
Writing: I tend to write poetry and flash fictions, but what I really want to write is a novel; a series of them to be precise. Aah, what I wouldnít give...
Crocheting: Iíll crochet anything so long as Iím given clear instructions on how to make it without all of the words being abbreviated. Ugh, I hate it when they do that...
Knitting: Simple, easy things Ė I havenít gotten very good yet, so Iím trying to keep it at a beginnerís level.
Going on my computer: I go on various websites, a couple of which are: FanFiction; GaiaOnline; YoungWritersSociety; and WordPress (the last one not nearly as much as the others).
Being bribed/Bribing others: I think this one is kinda self-explanatory. Basically, I like being rewarded for things I need/should do, and I like do the same unto others. Simple, right?
Hanging out with my friend/family: This oneís a no-brainer. However, Iíll say this much: my two most favorite people to hang out with are my mom and my sister.

There, with that over, I think weíve covered everything... well, if I havenít, then youíll just have to get to know me to find out.

Toodle-oo and ta-taa!

That was really long to read, so I didn't do it But I read up till you said I never NEVER heart someone's feelings. Well, I do but I don't actually mean it so yeah, if I hurt your feelings it's nothing personal

That was possibly the longest newbie thread I've ever seen. But anyway, welcome. Since you covered all the typical questions I have, I guess there's nothing else to say. Once again, welcome and if you want a crit or anything, VM/PM me anytime (since I've usually got time to kill).
Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?

Oh, good. Im not the only egomaniac on this site!
Welcomed be thee to YoungWritersOnline.

"Basically, you can say whatever the hell you want about me and I won’t give a damn."

That'd be my motto, except I found out that doesnt really apply to me. My version would be more like:
"You can say whatever the hell you want about me and I'll turn it into a compliment."
I simply like compliments way too much to pretend I dont give a damn

On to the writing-related aspects of your post.
Indeed, its easier to write flash-fiction and poetry. Liking fantasy novels doesnt mean we have the patience it takes to write a full novel ourselves. Oh, we want to, but we just can't! Untill we prove ourselves otherwise.
PM me for fantasy critiques and short stories. Then pm me again to remind me of it.

I think I've read a few intros that match yours in length. Sometimes I don't read them, but I did yours, just so you know. And you did basically answer all the newbie default questions, so let's see if I can think of something else...
How long have you been writing?

Me too. Well, not only them if we're counting non-immediate family members. Then I would have to say that it would be my two younger cousins, even if it sounds strange that I like to hang out with an eight-year-old and a four-year-old. They're adorable and I love them, so I don't care.

Also, welcome to YWO. If you haven't already, you should check out the Critique Guidelines and the Rules.

Dude, I like you, a lot! That is so cool, I didn't get bored when I was reading this thread, and it just kept getting better and better. In real life, I am a weird, sarcastic, somehow rude, crazy girl... I don't know if I act this way here too though.
I like to take things and turn them to compliments as well. (As Lango said).
If anyone says anything, I would just simply say:
-Thankyou. <with a smiley face.
-I know! <with this -y face
-I'll take that as a compliment, dude. < could be with or without "dude", depending on the mood.
-Anyother answer that pops into my mind.
Anyways, welcome to YWO, hope you enjoy your time, make sure to check out the FAQ & Rules, and the Critique Guidelines, and (if you are not as lazy as I am) all the other guidelines found here. But since you are a smart-ass, then I guess that you were smart enough to check them out.

Wow, I actually read all that.

I'm kinda inactive till summer, so you get my monthly comment. Welcome, I'll probably get to know you better come June. Till then, goodbye, and... well, that's it really. I like the sound of you so do stick around.

Bye bye.
