Some of you have expressed concern over our mods, and so I'm writing this to get nominations for new mods.

Let me know who you'd like to see as a mod in the comments and why. That is all.

Are you completely replacing everyone (unless they get voted back in) or are you just replacing some?

I nominate Draxzar. He's very active and I believe he has the maturity to handle the job.

And yeah, same question as Adri.

Draxzar: because he's omnipresent, cares about the site, and likes to do cool things like this to get people involved. Plus, he's a pretty cool guy to talk to and he likes good music like Radiohead and Neutral Milk Hotel. Lovable people need jobs too.

She's a great critic and an awesome person to speak to about poetry and prosetry. She can definitely help stimulate the ever dwindling poetry section on YWO. It's not that we don't have the writers, we just don't have good critics. I mean, she could help people now, but I think it gives her more credibility when she's green.

Adri, mostly because she is well-received by the community, and she has expressed interest in returning before (not sure about now, but oh well )

I nominate Tsuki/Adri/whateverelsepeoplecallher, because, look at what she's done.

She posted the YWO Yearbook, the awards... she's had contests to get us involved with the site more. She's well known, loved. Dude, I think she deserves this more than most of the people here.

I also nominate Drax, and Amour (although I'm not sure if Amour wants to be a mod). Drax made the awesome RPG game... and it's awesome (even though I'm not planning on participating in it, the idea itself is awesome).

Amour because she's created the poetry group and it's helping a lot. She critiques both prose and poetry, she's friggin' awesome and she's My Newb.

Tsuki: She's a long standing member and knows how it is done. She is active, keeps on top of the newbs and trolls, and gives quality critiques. Plus she is interested in returning to her post.

Spacepirate: Yeah he's new, but I think he has what it takes. He is basically always online because he has no real friends and he has expressed a lot of interest in this site since signing up.

Firstly, I nominate Tsuki:

1. Because she's a long running member (been here since 2008) and so knows the site inside out.

2. She crits a lot, and when she does she does it well. Both poetry and prose are her forte:

http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showpost.php?p=107093

3. She can write. http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showthread.php?t=4724

4. She's mature, but also fun. She's always on here and on chat, so I know, first-hand, that she's a very nice person and she would make a great mod.

---

Secondly, I nominate Drax:

1. Because he's also been a very long member on this site

2. He's got a hell of a lot of friends, and is generally nice to new people etc... He's friendly and has a good character, which makes him very likeable.

3. He can crit, and he also writes and he setted up the RPG Island collaboration

4. He also helps the new people by improving their critting skills by VM's/PM's

EDIT: I do have friends. Drax is my friend I take his nomination back. Joke

---

Thirdly, I nominate Amour:

1. Biggest reason of them all, she's one of the best poetry (and prose, but mostly poetry) critters we have and she has been invaluable to YWO:

2. She had done a lot to help the poetry section, and the poets in general (including me), such as setting up a Poetry group where she is active through the likes of poetry prompts and posting poems.

3. She's also been here for a long time, and knows her site very well

4. She's got a great character about her. She's very likeable and all the new people think she's a god and so she should be modded.

---

We're getting new mods to take over slots for those who haven't the time to be mods right now. Active mods will remain as mods, because they're doing a good job.

Its not like people would anyway, but please don't vote for me. I'm too busy at the moment, as shown by my lack of activity on this site, and its likely I'm gonna be busy over the next year or so. So yeah, I'd be a fail of a mod.
