We have one. It's four characters :p

But yeah, that might work better.

They should fix that. At least for the Literature section.

Hey, starry, perhaps make a thread in the suggestions section. It was your idea, after all.

Thankyou for posting this! I am very grateful that you posted this, since I tend to avoid critiquing unless I absolutely have to because I hate hurting people's feelings. So again, I say thankyou!

Andy, you were born to make guides. Another thing you might want to add is, you need a good imagination to crit or all of you crits will say things like " I dont get this" or "How did he do ( insert impossible thing here.)"

I feel better about giving critique now. Still rather nervous, but I feel like these guidelines explained it rather well. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that I 'll avoid the sugar-coating.

If you need any further help or have any more questions on critiquing, you can contact anyone with a green or purple username, and we'll be happy to help.

they aren't always orange-red,

Diamond drops of liquid ice,
a cling-film layer that wraps up the world
with sticky taps and pitfall paper,
keeping flies trapped inside and out
--they drown a certain Scottish pirate
and then the poetry stops for good,

An excellent conclusion for this can be that a critique should be very objective. For this reason it's extremelly hard for me to write critiques for my friends' works.
