Um, hello =]

I'm a newbie. Forgive me, but, I'm not sure what to write.

And I sometimes get shy (yuh-huh, even online), so bear with me ^-^
I also overuse smileys =]... obviously.. lol

I hope I can meet some new people on here, because I don't know anyone else who writes, in real life or online, so it'll be nice to talk about writing related stuff to people who actually want to listen .

So, again,

Hi ^-^!

Hey,
welcome.
No need to be shy around here, we're all basically friendy=p
So what genre do you write?

Thank you XD
Gah, it's embedded in my system to be shy >_<
Um, well, usually I like the fantasy genre, i.e. anything that involves vampirism/witchcraft/lycanthropy - y'know lol, the traditional folklores XD
But, when I set myself to start writing, like, a novel or a short story, (not that I've ever written more than like, 8 pages for a novel ) I tend to stick to realism with a twist of unlikely events... If I'm making sense :p
Gah, I can't really explain what I mean, but, stuff that isn't very likely in every day life, but has the smidgem of a possibility.

Christ, lol.
That doesn't count as an explanation, really.

Just put me down as a fantasy author =]

And yourself?

Hey, I'm Sarah and welcome to YWO. We're all pretty cool (in our own geeky way) so feel free to chat.

BTW your writing sounds exactly like me! I write the 'normal with a twist' fantasies. So maybe if you post some stuff I'll critique it.

I [strike]am[/strike] was shy online, but I think I've improved greatly. There are some things that are still really hard for me to do, but some things that used to be hard to do are now quite easy. My writing sites are like a second home now, but I remember what it felt like when I entered somewhere new.

Here's to shyness! -raiseglass-

-blink-

You feel special, because you're exactly like me?

Or do you just like raising glasses?

Here's to bed!

-clink-

I wish I could go to bed, dammit.
