As a home for young writers, YWO is happy to have student groups register, but if you are registering multiple people, we would appreciate it if you notify the staff first! This helps us to determine whether multiple registrations from the same IP are spam or a legitimate class registration, and it gives the mods a heads-up that there will be an influx of new critiquers.

If you are a teacher considering registering your class, please contact me or someone else on the staff list (if contacting an admin, contact Lykaios; our other two admins are not currently active).

All student groups should read the rules and critique guidelines before posting. Reading How to Get Started on YWO is also useful, as it gives examples of critiques that we accept versus critiques that we delete.

Happy critiquing!

Hello,
I am a teacher and have recently had my students in my LA class register. I have 40 students, and they will probably be from the same IP address as they are using school chrome books for their registration and to upload and critique stories.
I see that their stories have all been closed and taken down. Please re-instate their stories. I had no idea teachers had to contact the moderator or the administrators of the site (did I miss reading that somewhere?) All my students also have been referred to the site by me, franjipani.
Thanks!
