Pretty self-explanatory, but I think having a forum for just slapping down your literary liquid laughs would be helpful. I know the critique forum exists for writing, but perhaps a space for unfinished/in construction ideas that aren't actually a full blown story could also be useful. For things like getting advice on the depth of a character, or rewording a single sentence, or just for posting snippets of advice, plot, a word whose place you aren't sure about, a crazy dream-that-could-be-a-book, stuff like that where it could be written, but it isn't quite there yet. Basically, critiques for your sandstone so it'll gleam like a diamond. Stuff in that realm.
