The title says it all. Write 50,000 words in a month.
I may be the least inspired I've ever been (and also, my throat feels like kittens scratch it every time I swallow) but to lose NaNoWriMo or fail to participate would be to lose my identity as a person. Anyone else doing it this year?

I am doing it for the first time this year.
I am deciding amongst three ideas, sci-fi, realistic fiction, and fantasy. Pretty spread out. I might go with this sci-fi idea, which is a parody in the same vein as Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Futurama.

I wish I could so bad. Too much work between senior project, graduate portfolio, mid-terms, then finals, regular school work, and trying to maintain a social life. I did it once before and had a lot of fun, and this year I actually would have something to write about again, but bleh.

I did it last year and succeeded. I'm fine for this year, but good luck to all.

I have a problem keeping up with things like this. But I really want to try and give it a shot this year. I probably won't get past by a thousand words, but it's fine. As Dez said, good luck to all of you :3

Still thinking about it, or some sort of poetry challenge.
Probably, in the end, not. |

I've just wrote a long short story, which could easily become the first chapter of a novel. It's around 4450 words, with around 6 developed characters and a 7th one that's a newborn baby.
Buuuuuuuut I don't know. I'm kinda iffy about making novels, because of reasons.

I am performing a play for the first half of November so, once again, I will not be taking part in NaNo because I just don't have the time.

I'v done it before, and actually had plans to do it again, but unfourtunatly, my life is extremely busy right now, and I'm really trying to focus on my music, and the two don't go. I feel kind of not right about ditching it this time, but I would fail anyway. So the best of wishes and fortunes to all.
