Hey, so...I'm new here. That much is obvious. I am younger than most writers, probably even here. I live in the middle of nowhere, so I have been stuck at home, reading books my entire life. I read Wuthering Heights in eighth grade, understood it all, and loved it.

I have three works in progress. I want reviews. As soon as I can figure this whole site out and start posting, I would very much appreciate anyone's opinion, as long as they can back it up with suggestions for improvement. If it's just not your taste, don't bother with the review.

I get inspired by random things. If someone would like to leave me a message with a random thing in it that they think may spark some creativity, that would be completely awesome.

Now that I'm done with my tirade, I'm sure none of you want to socialize with me in any way. I hope some of you will comment on my work anyway.

Really, I'm not as much of a total dragon as this makes it sound. I'm just serious about my writing.

Just kidding.

Welcome. You sound really into writing, which is great, but be sure to crit before you post your work up. What genre do you write?
Any fav hobbies?
Do you like llamas?
Do you like my random questions?
Are my questions random?
Am I annoying you yet?
Anyways, just wanted to welcome you.

Eighth grade was right before summer started, for all of your information. People pick on eigth graders here, though, I've heard...

As to your questions, Nyx:
I write mostly fantasy stuff, but I'm sort of open to realistic fiction. Nonfiction has always kind of bored me. Research reports are my worst enemy.
Hobbies: Anything music related. I also like soccer, but not as much. Oh, and I can spell. I went to regionals for Scripps.
Llamas: My family used to own alpacas. They're like little llamas. I loved them.
I love your random questions. Yes, they are pretty random.
And, lastly: no. You are not annoying me. Yet.

The dragon does not feel like breathing fire on you all...
You're lucky.

Just kidding.

Aye, you would be right. I can't STAND them.
But, you're not really a grade eight anymore, so welcome.

-I sound like a 12 year old boy
-If I'm playing CoD4 or Halo3 and people find out I'm a girl. They T-Bag me.
-I get downsized for having a vagina if I speak one word into my head set.

Reasons I love xBox live:
- I can act like a lesbian, and for some reason that angers people ;D
- It's really funny when guys downsize you, then you blow them away with either, a noob tube to piss them off, or you just beat them with an AK-74 ;o

Hey, thanks. I knew I heard that you guys didn't like eighth graders somewhere. Technically I did take a Freshman class last year. I never really liked eighth graders. Or seventh graders, for that matter. All of my good friends are older than me.

What is this eighth-grade-discrimination thing? I never felt it. When we were in eighth grade, we were on top of the school. Lord of all we surveyed. Then we became freshies again.

I already have a dragon. His name is Toothie. I doubt he will protect me from your dragon, but he is much cuter. And I adore him. Stop trying to threaten us! I still have power over you! I am Overlady! Which is closest thing to being a mod! I swear! -butcherbutcher-

Okay, fantasy writer. You're writing in my zone, so if I give you a critique, that's good. I need to crit more.

Well...I guess you didn't read my first post, because at the end I revealed the identity of my dragon...ME!
Oh, and on the topic of eighth grade discrimination: my school system is so miniscule that we do not have a junior high. Elementary school is K-6, and single high school houses 7-12, so eighth graders are basically nothing. Not even newbies or anything. Just a rather uninteresting label.

By the way, I like your avatar-thing. It reminds me of an alpaca we used to have. His name was Juno. It's a girl's name...but he didn't know that. We also had one named Cassiopeia. Mom always picked weird names. Her dog is named Pippin. He does kind of look like a hobbit. Sort of.
