I was referred to this writing community through reddit's r/writing.

I have been writing since my sophomore year in high school, and prefer writing short stories, memoirs and occasional essays. I have attempted poetry and failed miserably, but might consider it again.

I'm here because I am taking a challenge - the challenge is to write 100 stories over 100 days, and was looking for fellow writers to take the challenge with me, and people to share my stories with. I'll be honest, I have quite a busy life and won't be able to do much critique here, but if asked, I will definitely do it.

Lastly, I live in New York City, so if you're a fellow New Yorker and want to become friends (although any of you guys can go ahead), I'm up for that.

Oh, yes! It's a good thing that we have a good reputation around the interwebs! Welcome, Reddit lurker, who, I suppose, have good writing skills, because people on reddit are generally awesome.

But, yeah, we do welcome those under 30, and we hold no preference for those under 21. If you are a writer who wants to become part of a good writing community and who wants to have their pieces to be critiqued, then you are certainly more than welcome.
