ln(e) = 1

Although I had to cheat because for the life of me I can't remember it off the top of my head and I haven't had to use my scientific calculator in 4 years...and I can't remember were the e function is.

Now for mine, which doesn't involve all these annoying confusing questions. Good lord people, I said easy stuff or stuff that was kinda hard only because of the way it's set up or something, not logarithms and crap.

3(4-7)+(3+2*2)=x(3+4-1(7*2/3))/15
Solve for x

If anyone is wondering, my boyfriend's internet is the absolute worst piece of shit in existence, and it causes my computer to slow down significantly anytime I enter the Chatroom. It also causes the chatroom to freeze anyway, so it's a bit futile to attempt to log in while I'm at his place.

I hate math.

I've always been more into art, biology, PE and Ancient History.

Dear God, this thread is revolting.

If you really want to ask us math questions, at least give us something interesting. -points at sXe_Jinxeh's question- I don't understand that riddle at all, but if I solved it (and I did try for a while), at least I would gain some feeling of satisfaction.

Solving for x in your equations leaves me with an empty feeling inside my heart. Why am I wasting time with this? I'm perfectly capable of solving for x. I don't need to demonstrate this to my fellow young writers that are online. What I do need to demonstrate is my FRICKIN' NOVEL.

WHY AM I EVEN POSTING IN THIS THREAD?!?

Edit: This thread really isn't that revolting. I just felt like shouting my opinion.

-2=7/3 x/15
-14/3 x=15
x=15/(-14/3)
x=3.21 (or thereabouts)

So, you're pretty close George. I might be a little off.

Anywho, how to eight 8's equal 1000?

No clue.

That sounded real emo back there!

Oh, and I think you multiply 8 by 125. 8 x 125 = 1000! Right? Right?

Duh! Because seven is bigger by one. And mind you, 'one' can make all the difference! Ever heard about Neo? What was his title? This is such an easy question!

Sheesh!
