Sunlight shone through the mouth of the cave, displaying a scene of total devastation. A elongated tree, so old and now dying. A black, twisted trunk connected to brittle branches from which fell the last of their brown, decaying leaves. Sitting beneath that tree was an unspeakable figure, dark and decaying like its life tree as it too was dying. It reached above its head and broke off one of the branches, and, touching it to the floor it began to write in the dust, these words were in a language that no human could read. No human words translate this exactly but in one most likely way it read:" Destroy the human on the great ones command, it will die a ghastly death under this very tree, it's blood will be shed and nothing will remain of it, not even a simple memory." The beast let out one final wheezing breath and dissolved,it's remaining ashes mixing with the dust in the ground forming words in human language which read: "She will die."
In the far dark corner of the ace was a tiny crack too small for the beast to see with its naked eye. Sitting inside the crack was a human child, clutching a paintbrush in one hand and paints in the other, she was holding these possessions to her chest and was weeping silently, for she is the one who will die and somehow she already knew.

Five years after these occurrences no-one knew about the girl or what had happened to her. The only one with any memory was a small boy with a clouded thought of a dead sister.
