Hi everyone! My name is Gabbi. I'm 19, a sophomore in college. I'm double majoring in English and creative writing, with a minor in German. I mostly write young adult realistic fiction, but I dabble in other genres as well. I aspire to be an author, obviously, but also a novel editor, so I love to read others' work and give feedback. I really would love to find others my age who love and are serious about writing, and we can help each other grow as writers

Hi! Nice to meet you! I like to listen to alternative music. And there is no way I'd be able to pick a favorite author, but I love Lauren Oliver, Richelle Mead, Cassandra Clare, Sarah Dessen...the list goes on! What about you?

Hey there, Gabbi! Welcome to YWO! I've been a fan of YA fiction for a while now, and I'm also in the process of writing a YA realistic fiction novel (I write other genres as well). So, it's nice to see another YA enthusiast.

YWO has a very helpful environment. You're bound to find others who are interested in similar things, like YA. We help each other through discussions and critiques and that's how we grow as writers.

If you have any questions about the site or any other general question feel free to post a thread in the appropriate section or ask any of us. Or, if you just want to talk about YA fiction and writing in general, feel free to VM one of us.

Once again, welcome to YWO!
