Here's a list I've compiled of little things to look for while you're writing:

-Is it clear who's talking in the dialogue?
-Is the dialogue in the speaker's voice?
-Does the reader know where and when they are?
-Does every sentence have an action (a verb)?
-Is it clear who/what is doing the action and who/what is receiving the action?
-Does each sentence have a clear beginning and a clear end?
-Do all of the descriptions make sense in context?
-Are any of the descriptions unnecessary, and do any of them get in the way?
-Do the sentences vary in length?
-Does the writing have proper grammar?
-Is it clear how the character got where they are?
-Is there any unnecessarily fancy vocabulary, or does the vocabulary fit the style of the piece?
-Does the piece convey the mood you want it to?
-Is it both entertaining and thought-provoking?
-Are there any loose ends?
-Do the sentences flow, or are some of the words out of order?
-Did you leave out any information that the reader needs to know just because you already know it?
-Is there enough description that your reader can see the surroundings in the story?

These are just a few things to keep in mind. Hope it helped!
I'm gone.....

Haha, a "few" things indeed. I'm not disagreeing with your valid points made in your list, but I think it'd help out on consistency if you gave commentary because since each point isn't closely related, it's hard, for me at least, to take all of them in at once.
All previous novels put on hold at the moment.

My compilation of all the great guides, Guides' Gate, for those in need of help or review with critiques, grammar, spelling, and other advice.

"These hands of mine glow with an awesome power! Their burning grips tell me to write. Take this! My love, my anger, and all of my sorrow! SHINING FINGERS! Go, go! Go, go! Go, go!" -derived from G Gundam's Shining Finger attack quote.

I see this more as a list of things to keep in mind while you edit.
