Poetry collab thread: 365 thoughts in a year

A thread to keep things organised, or at least less chaotic. Credit to Spacepirate for being far less spacey than me (:

Basically, an order will be created of who should post when (it'll likely change/manifest itself) but I think it'll work best as a guideline and not a set rule. That is, if we're falling behind feel free to post and catch us up despite whose turn it is.

Some things:
  1. Post here if you want to join in on the fun. Anyone can join at any time.
  2. Post here if you have to take a break from the collab for a while, or can't post when your "turn" comes around

Let me know if I'm missing anything or you have anything to add. I don't expect the order to be rigid, or even work out perfectly as is. I guess it just helps the confusion until we fall into a routine/rhythm.

There is absolutely no pressure to post in this order, it just provides context to when you might

Me! I'm definitely up for this, and not having to write a poem everyday but taking it in turns is really appealing to me.

So yeah, I'm definitely in.

Perfect can't wait to see what you post. I like the low-pressure aspect of it also; I think it'll promote some really great quality work too.

I'd love to be on but really don't control when the interwebz is at my fingertips. I could definitely start in September.

I don't want things to get confusing, but I think it should totally be okay if this isn't a huge commitment in which a small group/person is obligated every so often. If you have a moment/poem you want to post before September, I say go for it. Theoretically, a person should be able to post as few or as many as they want.

I think it'll be really cool to capture the poets that exist on YWO for an entire year, whether they submit 5 poems or 25, etc.

thoughts/suggestions/help welcome, of course

we're a few poems behind! If anyone that doesn't want to completely commit wants to post one with no strings attached, they totally should.

This seems awesome! I'm definitely up for it.
A question though, and forgive me if I missed this - is there any particular order in which we post?

Since we're already kind of behind, I'd say nope. Go for it when you're feeling it. We can establish an order when more people are available/if it becomes a problem.

I'd like to revive this thing. 365 poems in exactly 2 months from now. haha. It isn't impossible. IT ISN'T.
