Times Thanked: 4 there a fanfic section? There should totally be a fanfic section if it's possible. Take my idea into consideration, site moderators!

There isn't one at the moment, mostly because this isn't strongly oriented towards fan fiction (and I kind of doubt that we'll make one, but who knows!). That said, I don't see any rule against it, so if you have enough points from doing critiques you should be able to post your fan fiction in the stories forum. I would just mark it clearly as such either in the thread title or in an introductory note before the text of the story. That will help prevent general confusion, and will probably mean that you get comments from other people interested in fan fiction. I just keep an eye on the poetry forums, though, so don't take my opinion as the last word on it.

Stories and novels mods, what do you guys think?

Not a fan of it, personally, but that shouldn't stop you from posting it in the short stories/novels section. The few times I've seen it posted, that's where it ends up.
