Hello everyone! Isis usually does this, but she's not been active in a few weeks and I'd like to continue this tradition, and decided I would host the spotlight for this month. Hopefully nobody, including Isis, minds.

In a few weeks, a handfull (2-4) pieces from short stories, novels, poetry, and other things will be spotlighted in a thread in the Site News forum (just like last month). In addition to the main writing forums, stuff in the thread box prose or one of the threadbox poemss are eligible.

Did you read anything on the forum that stopped you, made you think, impressed you? Is there a piece from June that deserves more attention? Post a link to anything posted by someone else during the month of June, 2013. I will use those suggestions and our own favorite pieces to put together the spotlight. Any and all help on this front is appreciated, especially for the poetry forums - I know there's good work out there, but I haven't read it yet.

It's a cool idea, but what happened to Isis? Is she okay?

I hope Isis doesn't mind me speaking for her, but she's all right, just busy.

I suggested this last month without realising it was posted in June not May.

Seeing as July is nearing an end, shouldn't this get put up?

Two weeks seemed like enough time for people to suggest things.

(Slash, my internet has been down for the past several days because of major storms)
