Basically everything you need is right here:

You need to critique other's work in order to get points and post your own work. You're critiques should be thorough and detailed. Not just a few lines and not just fixing grammar and punctuation and spelling and that sorts of stuff.

Orion's got it covered really, but in case you're still lost, you can find the writing section in the top left corner at the top of the page. Next to 'forum' there's a picture of a notebook labelled 'writing'. You can find everything under there.
