Hi everyone, I'm new here (obviously. Haha) Basically I want to work on developing character and writing the beginnings to stories (to which I'm not very good at. ) It's going to be nice getting critiqued by people who love writing and are very good at it.

P.S I know my username is long so ya'll can call me M or Midnight or Mask or whatever floats your boat.

Nice to meet you. I'm Molly. It's great you have specific aims to work on already! I wrote a little guide on character stereotypes that you might find useful if you're looking at character. There's loads of other useful character guides there too!

Do you write novels or short stories?

I'm not really working on a story at this moment, I'm more or less going through ideas for stories and how I could possibly write them.

MidnightMasquerade just sounded kind of catchy I guess, and it's also the theme for my highschool's prom. (I love seemingly random questions sometimes!

The guide is great! Thank you! As of right now I'm more geared toward short stories, but someday I would very much like to write a novel.
