I found this site through 101 Best Websites for Writers, and was happy to stumble across a site/forum for young "serious" writers. I love reading when I have the time and enjoy a wide variety of books, though some from the earlier American era, ie: Moby Dick and The Scarlet Letter, are sorta hard to get through sometimes.
I'm currently in the process of writing a Low Fantasy novel, well...the outline to be more correct. I had the original idea three or four years ago, and I have modified (and might I say improved?) the storyline so much since then, I can't even remember what the original was! I really haven't read a lot of fantasy and it has a rather Middle Eastern/Persian flavor, so I hope it doesn't fall into the "purple prosed, cliched, and Mary Sue and Marty Stu- filled book. (I think it's only fantasy because it has a few "otherworldly" elements. Ha.)
I also enjoy writing poetry from time to time, though I suck at short stories. Besides literary pursuits, I have an interest in organic sustainable farming, dairy goats, woodcarving, and playing the violin. Plus whatever else happens to strike my fancy.
Hopefully I have not bored you with all the above. I sincerely look forward to hobnobbing with you other writers on here.

I like your name. It sounds kind of pop/rockstar-ish.

I don't read a lot of heavy fantasy, but prefer magic realism. That's what I usually write too. It's great to see another novel writer on the site and if you have any questions, just let me know!

Drop into the poetry section soon!

We don't bite when we're busy chewing on someone else.
