I am not sure if such a thing exists in this site, so if it does let me know, but what would be really wonderful for this site would be weekly assignments. For example one of the moderators, or anyone else in that matter, picks a topic, and then whoever is interested lets the moderators know and starts writing a story, poem, song, with that particular topic in mind. Is this too crazy? Am I the only one who seeks weekly motivation? Many times I get stuck while I practice so this would be extra help if we assisted each other and proposed ideas. Tell me guys what you think.

We had a monthly short story contest for a few months (a month gives more time to write a better story than a week) with a theme. It'll start again in June. There's a biweekly poetry contest hopefully restarting Sunday.
