hey guys, i'm starryskyes (rhyming entirely unintentional), or you can just call me starry.

i originally got conscripted here to join the survival by storytelling vs spattered ink fight, but since no one would send me the confirmation email in time, i guess it doesn't matter (i would have voted sbs). by the way, i never actually got the confirmation email. i just went on the site today, and now it lets me post. anyone know why?

anyway, carraka was the one who invited me (i would have put her on the registration thingy but i didn't know what screenname she was using), so she gets credit for getting me on a forum where people actually comment on things.

in short, my current and lasting obsession in both reading and writing is fantasy. for the most part, i'm concentrating on writing my one giant story right now. it's called estara, and at the moment it's 24,000 words. since i'm posting primarily on another forun, the first ten segments are already up there, and i can just post them up here whenever and feel good about my accomplishments without actually writing anything new.

what's up with you guys?

yeah, for the record, i do use proper capitalization and grammar and everything when writing stories. i just don't like to otherwise. and be glad that i stopped using chat-speech abbreviations and starting using apostrophes again.
