What is the thanked thing. Like mine says "Thanked: 10 times." what is that?

I think it's like on TW with the rep system. Except this site doesn't have a bad rep icon.

Yeah, we saw no point in having a bad rep icon because if you were going to give someone a bad rep for something, it's probably something that should be reported to a mod anyway. That and we're tired of dealing with revenge repping and stuff. Just seems pointless to have it. So the thank you rep is more or less just a way for someone to say thanks for whatever it is you did, whether it be a critique or just saying something thoughtful.

The default for number of times thanked is zero. But TNCC, you joined before we could change it from ten to zero, so you have ten. Consider yourself lucky. :)

And to thank someone, you click the green check mark below their avatar.

That's what I said on TW, but nooooo, it was a "powerful aspect of the site" (mostly said by Hypo, as that would take his weapon away from him to use on me whenever I didn't agree with his views). When they did take it away it was "the Mods' idea". :glare:

I didn't know it was your idea in the first place, I just agreed with Andrew that the neg reps were stupid. I had no idea you suggested it. Which is why YWO is going to make it very clear that we want all member input!

Well, I wasn't the first to really suggest it. A few people implied it, but I think I was the first one to make a statement about it. I may be wrong, or maybe I'm just being big-headed or something...

I think I prefer this system too. However, I haven't been thanked yet, so if you all don't start thanking me, I'll -- I'll -- sputter!
