Yes, well, like I said, my name is Pibs, and I am (finally) an official member! Yaaaaay!:D

I've been lurking on the forum for a while, and I must say you guys all seem purdy cool!!! And, just to clear a few things up...

I'm a Pinja too. I like both, and making enemies would be a bad way to start my membership! :ninja::pirate::P

Also... on the "Final Showdown" I am voting for a creature not listed... one of my own creation... BEHOLD... the VENOMOUS WAR CAMEL!!!! These beasts are two-humped (Bactrian? Can't remember, dangit, bad biology geek, BAAAD geek...) camels of a dark brown to gray color, with black eyes. No "evil red eyes" here, folks! Anyway... they have venomous spit... one haak-pitooeee on you, and you're toast! There are few who can befriend (NOT tame) the VWC. Those who befriend one, are protected for life. Those who make enemies of their tightly-knit and fiercely loyal clan... BEWARE!!!!

So, ANYWAY... if you're wondering about the funky user name, (I've never used it anywhere else... fresh for this site!) Pibs is short for "Pibble" which is an endearing nick-name given to dogs of the "pit bull" type by true Pibble lovers. Are you freaking out now? I'm sorry for you. The TRUE Pibble, a pibble that is raised well, loved, cared for, and socialized, is a dog that loves it's pet humans more than anything else in the world. I find this bond amazing... after all us humans have done to this poor, misunderstood breed, they still love us. Why? Anyway, I'm here to represent the TRUE PIBBLE!!!

So, have ya guessed yet that I'm an animal lover? I have lotsa lotsa pets: bunnies, horses, kitties, foster dogs, and rats. Yes, RATS. Throw away your prejudices, people! Rats are amazing; cute, smart, clean, and affectionate lil rodents that burrow their way into your hear and NEVER leave! Once you go RAT, you never go back!

Oh my gosh, I'm writing a novel here. If you're still reading and haven't been bored to tears, :hug: to you!!! Anyway, writing is what this is all about, right? So... I mainly right poetry, because I've never felt good enough about any of my fantasy plots to actually get them out on paper. So, I'm hoping that joining YWO will rekindle my love for poetry and my will to write fantasy and science fiction! :)

So, guess I should stop writing now... I could rant and vent your ears (eyes?) off, but I'll choose to keep the sparse audience that has made it this far (cookies to you!) and say Adios. Besides, if Mum finds out I was up this late... uh-oh...

w00t Nyx! I love camels! ESPECIALLY VMCs!!! I can tell already that they would, more than likely, accept you into their clan of allies and riders! I like llamas too, just for the record. And basically every other kind of animal there is... :D

Oh, and by the way, Midnight_Moon and I are sisters. :waves: I was hoping she wouldn't recognize me, but this morning she said "Hi Pibs!" so, I guess the secret's out.

I agree with ya, Raffy. Pibbles trump spittin' critters any day. But be warned... while you don't have to be friends with the VWC's, be sure not to insult them. I dunno if I would be able to convince them not to toast ya... anyway, hope your mouth feels better... I'm deathly afraid of the day my wisdom teeth have to be pulled...

Speaking of which, you guys got my dog and rat rants, but I forgot to rant about my two other favorite animals...

HORSES!!! I have two horses. Diago is my first horse and my first love. He's a dark, not very tall, but EXTREMELY handsome bay Arabian gelding. (For all you un-horsey peeps, bay is his color: bright, copper-red coat, with coal black mane, tail, ears, and legs.) He is my rock. My bestest friend. Willowyn, Willo or Willy for short, is my Appaloosa/QH mare. She's five years old, and I'm training her. She is my baby, my project, my dork. I'll post pictures if you want!!!! :crazy:

And... BUNNIES!!! I have two bun-buns right now... Thumper, who is a big dutch boy, who got me into this whole animal-rescue business. I adopted him from the Humane Society for my 9th birthday, and now at age 8 he is still going strong. Opie, his cage-mate bachelor bud to-be, is an Opal (hence the name) mini rex. He is the original energizer bunny... at 10, he's still going! These guys are my roommates, along with Clover, Max (a girl!), Angel, and Logan Alphonse Armstrong, my rats. If you check my profile, it says one of my hobbies is binkying... binkying is done by rabbits in moments of ecstacy... basically, ya jump up in the air and shake yourself around joyfully. Then laugh your butt off at all of the people who are staring bewildered at you... LOL! Anyway...

There. So, if you didn't think I was obsessed before, you should be convinced now!!! :crazy: :crazy:
