The Blog Bot

We're testing out a feature that will hopefully bring the blog and the forum a bit closer together.

It's basically a script that will copy the first line of each new blog post and then add it to this thread (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showthread.php?t=776). The posts will appear under the name "The Blog Bot" - which is incredibly original. :rolleyes:

This should give you all a better idea of when the blog is updated. Naturally, links to the actual blog posts will appear in The Blog Bot's posts, so it should be very convenient.

Are you going to actually test it, or do you need someone to write something blogworthy first? Either way, it sounds like this new feature will prevent me from going to the blog to stare at nothing.

I would subscribe to GRRM's blog too, (which reminds me, I'm gonna check again right after I've typed this post,) but I have the feeling that even if I found some way to use it to notify me by e-mail, I would still check it at least five times a day.

But you guys don't want to hear about that. None of you are enlightened.
