I need help with last names for my characters. I'm not good with names as it is, but last names are even harder. Particularly, I need a last name that would go good with the first name of 'Cyrus'.
Thanks! :)

Cyrus Miley. Cyrus Ray Billy.
But all jokes aside, just name them yourself. Pick a name out of a hat.

Cyrus Mafel! Cyrus Wryne, Cyrus Nyaka! Yes, maybe I'm crazy, but I kind of like that middle one. It's pronounced like 'worm' with an 'N'. (Or however you wanna say it, I guess. :p)
Other than that, try writing down the first things that come to your mind all out on a piece of paper-- don't even think of how stupid and ridiculous they seem at the time! Even if they're 'first' names or 'middle' names, or not even real names, ect. When you're done, attach the name 'Cyrus' to the front of the most likely ones, and if you don't find one ya like... baby-naming websites and name-meaning-search-engines are always fun to browse on. :D I found a lot of cool names by typing out things like 'dragon' into an English-Japanese dictionary, or typing 'leaf' into English-French. (Google "Eudict"; it's awesome. It brings up closely related words as well as what you searched for.) You might even find 'Cyrus' a middle name in the process! :D

You could look it up in the phonebook. Randomly open to a page, close your eyes and stab your finger down. If the name fits, hooray! If not, well...
You could also have a look at these websites:

Or, if you were after a specific nationality, I'd recommend this website:

One thing I've used in the past is name generators online. I also make sure to pay attention to names as I meet people and the such to see if I like certain names, and sometimes the best names are normal everyday names but are spelled differently than they would ever be in real life.
Suggestions: Cyrus Farren
I like to take existing last names, and swap a few letters around. Makes them easy and unique.
