View Full Version : Make A Plot
Here's how it works.
The person before you posts a conflict - sort of like the exposition of a story, with a problem(s) that need solving. Your job is to write a plot outline (a paragraph or two) which resolves the plot.
To keep the plots from being boring, you must introduce at least 2 characters not mentioned in the previous person's post. Your plot must be at least 5 sentences long also.
First conflict:
There's a colony of dragons which is slowly starving because the local humans are taking up more and more of their habitat. If the dragons attack, they will be wiped out because of the human's vast numbers. What do they do?
EDIT: Sorry, yes you should introduce a new conflict one you resolve the previous one.

The dragons had devised a cunning, yet slightly cowarding, plan. They took to the skies above the human villages and soared above breathing roaring balls of fire down upon them. The people screamed and tried to fight back but the dragons emrely flew up higher making the fire balls land with a much greater ferocity and removing them from the ranges of the human's weapons. After a while the screams stopped and the dragoins were now flyign in a terrible black sky. They dived down and landed on the ground seenig noly burnt houses and dead humans. They cheered until they looked around even more, the humans burnt to a crisp along with the entire land. Anything that might have been edible at all was gone, burnt into oblivion. They looked at each other in anger each blaming the next until they finally attacked each other. Two of the leaders, Eltron and Ulice, gathered dragons to their side and drastically tried to protect themselves as the other dragons attacked. In the end no one survived that day and far away on the other side of teh globe another group of dragons were about to set in motion the plan that they had created to get food...(that's the sequel! :))
Is that all, or am I supposed to come up with another conflict?
I totally love dragons, but hey, thats besides the point- Here goes!
The Dragons leant to the left all as one, floating upon the smokey soot-filled winds and arcing down towards the charred remains of the human empire and bloodied battlefield of their brethren. Their faces were twisted in smirks and grins; contorted expressions of pleasure at seeing the carnage that their sly plan had wrought upon the two groups of deceased beings before them. Each Dragon wandered the weak timber structures that remained, looking for any sign of life that may be used for their second section of evil plans. The Great Black Dragon Dah-Kan, who had set this all in motion, began to flap his wings, rising up into the sky. His telepathic words ripped through the minds of his people,
"Look in the caves, under the ground, in every tiny hole you can find... a few of the -cattle- will have escaped into hiding..." a claw sliced through the air threateningly, emphasizing the obvious distaste the Great Dragon had.
The other dragons immediately responded, tearing apart the remaining cities, villages and mountain ranges until they rounded up the few and final humanoids. Gathering them into the burnt out 'picket' city of their choosing, they allowed the people to live... to continue life as they had, but now for a "true purpose". To breed, so that the dragons may eat now and in future times unending... but there was one man who saw a different future for mankind. Elek began to formulate grand plans to thwart this new "time of dragons".
