I believe human nature is bad. we kill eachother for money, power, and land. We only look after our own lives. the only things that keep humans together is a common enemy. The law only has as much power as it is given. Without our support law would not exist.

Consider this a place holder for the inevitable skullfucking that will occur by sometime tomorrow.

If I write 1k of words, I expect to receive an equally charged argument. Not the boolean type of yes/no.

I think we're very giving as humans. Take me for example, there was literally no worth in posting here, but I responded in this thread anyway.

Human nature is much too broad a topic to label as good or bad. First of all you could argue that human nature is neither good nor bad and just is what it is. However to be more direct to the question I would say that there are parts of human nature which are good (care, love, compassion, etc.) and other parts which are bad (war, discrimination, blah blah blah...). If you ask me I think that this topic is way to god damn broad to discuss and your viewpoint is horribly stated and brief. If you can't write more than a few muddled sentences, there is nothing to debate.

P.S. Please stop with the "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER" thing.

Funny how this argument can be settled in one simple sentence.

"BABIES ARE BORN ESSENTIALLY GOOD."

/end 'debate'

Disregarding how the list is biased, what's the point in it?

Completely regarding the bias of the list, based on what principles are these things inherently anything?

Getting more predictably philosophy 101, do the actions of individuals define a group? Hitler was an asshole, so German's are all d-bags now? Religious figures have been caught abusing children numerous times, so Mother Teresa was bad by nature? Anyways, this is a stupid debate. Its going to fall apart as soon as someone brings up subjective morality, and it will just get worse when someone suggests that "existence precedes essence"

oh fuck, i just did both of those things.
