Because of the relative lack of success with this year's Writing Olympics, I want to figure out ways to increase involvement in the future. This may or may not be the first in a series of posts asking for feedback. This one deals with times, obviously. Select months that are best for you (i.e., when you feel like you could easily participate in the events). I'll use this to figure out what to do with next year's events.

Thanks!

I say January March and October, but in fact I have no demands on my time. November is Nano and April is Napowrimo. That's it.

This seems like a pretty important poll. Same as lalodragon, everything except nano, napo, and summer. Why is summer so bad for writing?

I honestly thing october-february is best.

I can't do April(Screnzy), November(NaNo), but I can probably do December and January. And the rest of the year? School.

I have never been able to take part in the Olympics. I wanted to do this year but missed them again. I would go for December or January as rest of the year is packed. But no matter what next year I am going to be there. And when do we have YWO awards this year, that is if we are going to have one? I don't want to miss this time. Even January is going to be hectic. My college would be organizing an International Film Festival for Undergraduates. So I guess its is just December for me.

I'm noticing that the majority of people are best in January and December, but I'm still going to suggest this because I can't do that and it would be nice to have more options about it.

What if there were two different Olympics? One in the summer, and one in the winter. Maybe about half as big or something, but (maybe?)easier for more to attend?
