Custom User Titles

One of the things Shaun and I planned to do a long time ago (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showthread.php?p=636#post636) was to make custom user titles to appear under your names. The idea was that people who achieved a certain number of posts would be able to have one. It would appear under your rank (Wordsmith, etc), not replace it.

Since we've got several people with a sickening number of posts now, it's probably time we did it.

So, what number-of-posts requirement do you think is fair? Don't just suggest something below your current post count. :P I'd like to hear reasoning, too. Should this be something only for long-term members to achieve, or maybe something lower to encourage newbies to get it?

Well I think 1,500 posts would be fair. Really there aren't a lot of people with 2,000+ posts and I think it's fair for them to already have that ability.

I would have said 2000, but I'm also over 1500, so I think 1500 is good. :link:

Edit: Also, as the site develops, maybe you could push it a little higher. Because, let's face it, when this site becomes as developed or near-as developed as say TW (not as YWO, that would take a long time), there'll be loads of people with over 1500 posts in their count. Or is that the point?

On a more serious note:
I'd go with something between 1,000 and 2,000, and once you set a number, you shouldn't change it until I reach that number.
