What is it?
There are three separate events in this thread.

Science Fiction Olympics (short story or novel chapter)
(5,000 words or less)
The participant must write a science fiction short story (of any kind) within the word count.

Fantasy Olympics (short story or novel chapter)
(5,000 words or less)
The participant must write a fantasy short story (of any kind) within the word count.

General Fiction Olympics (short story or novel chapter)
(5,000 words or less)
The participant must write a general fiction short story (of any kind) within the word count.

What are the themes?
Pay attention. You may not mix and match. Each event has a theme specific to it:

Science Fiction Olympics -- Entropy

Fantasy Olympics -- Stone

General Fiction Olympics -- Maiden
