Weekly Chats?

How do people feel about having weekly chats about whatever topics? I was thinking we could use them as times to talk about things important to the site or anything really...writing, whatever. I'm also working on setting up some good times for doing word wars and the like, so we could work it around this too.

So, when are good times for you to do such a thing? There are a lot of things to talk about that we can use the chat for, so I'd love to do this so we can iron out ideas and what not.

Probably weekends or evenings, though weekends are better.

Evenings for who? You have to remember there are other timezones. :rolleyes:

We tried this on TW and no one turned up, so ... yeah.

This isn't TW, by the way. Things work differently here. Evenings for Pacific Coast people.

So, the middle of the night. Yeah that's dead considerate. :rolleyes:

Part of the reason it didn't work on TW was because people picked their own time and only people from their timezone could make it.

Another reason was because not enough people were interested. Judging by the lack of enthusiasm on this thread I can't imagine it'd work here.

Well so be it, but if important, fun, exciting stuff happens, then maybe they'll show up.

such as my idea to talk about an RPG I want to run in the chat...we'd talk about that to figure out the types of things people want to do in an RPG so I can fashion an entertaining game for all!

Sorry, but I'm not getting up at 5am. But I'm not really bothered, I don'r really like chatrooms, they go too fast.

No, but you could join if we did it on a weekend in the early afternoon for us US folks.
