A Ywo Portrait!!!

Okay so this really isn't a suggestion about the site per say, but more of a community, fun...thingamajiggy whatever you wanna call it.

I was looking through some old anime pictures I had in my computer and deleting things I didn't need and came across this picture.

And then it hit me.

I thought, "OH MY GOD...how COOL would it be...if someone were able to draw out a group picture of YWO in anime?"

But then I came across the first problem. Hopefully, in the future, there will be hundreds of more members. So what about a group picture for them?

So we go by different generations then.

We start off with the first generation, those who jump started YWO, which obviously, I'm part of. (I hope... ;))

So yeah, I just thought it'd be really cool if someone with awesome (or just adequate) manga skills could draw us out and you know...it'd just be a cool memoir and all. You can put it up as wallpaper, avatar, AIM icon, picture on facebook album, whatever, etc.

Edit: You know what'd be even more uber-awesome? If we had a thread in the artwork forum labeled: "YWO Generations," and at the end of one year (in the time since YWO's birth that is) we post each new picture up like a wall of fame or something.

This sounds awesome, I can't draw worth my life though so I guess I'm not much help. maybe the people who can draw can each take a person or two. Make it just the person, no background or anything, then someone can put it all together on one page. That way it isn't put on one person. Just an idea, I don't know if it would work or not.

But I definatly LOVE the idea.

The artist also has to know exactly how to draw the person. Are we going to draw people like they are in real life, from the picture thread? Or just based on how the act on YWO? Or a mix of both? Maybe each person should message the artist on how they want to be drawn out.

Ah...real-life style is something I can't really do. Chibi might be okay for me to work on, but realistic portraits would be too hard! :P

Stirly's cover for the TW anthology was awesome-looking. I wasn't on it, but that was because I couldn't send pictures of myself to her.

Maybe I could draw a picture of myself. It'll be really bad, so it won't look like me.

Well I think if Raffy had the time he could do a good job. We don't have a lot of artists who do drawings and the like here. I wish we did, but we don't. Too bad Stirly isn't a YWO member...she'd probably have fun with this.

Does anyone know someone who might be interested in doing this? I know Raf is going to be busy converting WISB into a graphic novel over summer so :P.

She's doing her art course atm and I don't think it'd be a great plan to lay a huge project on her.

I can't draw worth my life. I got an A in art, that is just cause we didn't draw and I was pretty creative. :D, But when it comes to drawing the only thing I can do is a horses head, and I can't even do that very well.
