My thread was closed... why?

I'm going to be careful when I write this, cause I don't want my thread to be closed again. So, could someone tell me why my thread was closed when I wrote about a certan author whom wrote a certain story? Also, can someone tell me what I can write about so I don't make the same mistake twice?

I closed your thread because we've had the whole Twilight discussion before, and trust me, you do not wnat to go there again. It's an old very worn subject. I'm sure there's another thread detailing most people's views of it here, so look around. The thread is staying closed for your sake, because I doubt you'll want that kind of discussion in your newbie history.

Write about anything you like, but Twilight can stay buried where it belongs.
