I'm not quite sure where this question should be posted, but then again, this is the Writing Q&A....

Currently I'm working on a novel, The Contractor, that I've put in to the Novels (Fantastic) section. The problem is, I've written up to fourteen chapters in my computer, and I'm worried that since my chapters are fairly short, I might be hogging the forum if I were to upload the chapters one thread at a time. For all I know, at one point in time I might reach up to fifty chapters (maybe more!).

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Can I merge my story into one long thread, for example, but without losing any of the critique' posts I've received?

Thank you so much for your help in advance! :)

Right now, you can't merge threads, but you should be pacing out your submissions anyway. Let people take the time to review each chapter. If you post them all in quick succession, you'll lose reviewers.

As Shaun said, don't post them all at one time. If you wait until people have critiqued each chapter and then post the next one, you should have no problem. I once posted novel chapters in individual threads and had about fifteen threads for one novel (until I deleted some, but that's besides the point). I wasn't hogging the forum, because it took so long for people to critique my chapters that by the time I was ready to post a new one, others had created new threads. So you should be fine.
