How do you do a link?

I know you might be thinking duh! but I mean like this:

Instead of writing the whole URL out like http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showthread.php?p=127378#post127378 for example, how do you get it so its like, "my story is here, by which when you click on the here, it takes you to the link.

Any help will be appreciated :)
