Hello
It has been a while since I last wrote something because I have been busy in school. especially in English since i am now in the top set however, now that i am used to the routine of a new school (comprehensive) I am thinking of writing about a super hero I would like to create. If you could help me with some super hero ideas I will be more than pleased.
Thank you;););)

Since you want to write about a super-hero, I'm assuming that this will be a children's story? Because most older youth don't really like the whole "super-hero" thing as literature.
Or maybe I'm generalizing.
Really, I find that the writer has to come up with the actual inspiration. When people tell me to write about a certain thing, in poetry, for example, it seems like that "thing" loses any power it might have had if I had come to the same conclusion on my own.
Or maybe I'm crazy :P .
Anyways, there are helpful processes to get through this things, if you don't have immediate inspiration.

The thing is, if I were to tell you who/what to write about, you wouldn't have very much of a connection of the character. And because of that, your story would not be as good as it could have been. So, my advice is to find inspiration. Look at people you know, like your friends, family, or even yourself. Who knows, once you really get writing, it may not even end up being about what it originally would have been!

look at comic books and watch hero movies, maybe that will inspire you. I've seen a lot of super-hero stories recently in workshops so you're not alone. I think it's an after effect of all the comic book movies that are coming out (sort of like the whole vampire thing that's still going on now). I think almost every super power has probably been done, so I would focus on the strength of the character and setting.
good luck!

What sort of super-hero are you after? What sort of story will they feature in? The term "super-hero" could bring to mind a lot of things. Decide what sort of super-hero you want - an ordinary person who discovers they have mind boggling powers or the undercover guy who saves the world without anyone actually knowing? If you're having trouble coming up with one, you start by giving them a name. I know a lot of people don't like working this way but I actually find it easier to use a name as my starting point and flesh out the character from that.
