Back button on errors

Ok, so I just finished my first crit and i thought it was pretty good so I hit submit and it gave me an error message saying "Only members with 10 or more posts can post links" Ok, I'm fine with that but what I'm not fine with is that it completely deleted the critique!!! And now I have to start over again. I think that you should make a back button on erros such as that one that make you able to go back to the page with the post you were making on it and remove the link then resubmit.

If you hit the back button on your browser it should take you right back to your critique. It's happened to me a few times and that always seemed to solve it.

If you are worried about losing long critiques, it might be a good idea to copy the entire thing and paste it in a word document just before clicking the submit button, and that way if something does happen, you still have your critique somewhere safe.

Yeah, if you'd have clicked back straight away, then it would have taken you back to your critique. That's one thing I like about this site over others becasue I'm always stuffing up on posts like that. I'd second doing/copying them on word/google docs though, they both have very nifty autosave features which can soemtimes be lifesaving.

I agree with Lily and Alice. I do that all the time. It's safer whether it's a short or a long crit.
