I agree because paradoxes rule.

All the continents should still be one mass of land(Pangaea!), and we should all speak in one language (I.E. Just to take a note from the bible, we should speak Babel.) so the time zones are less confusing, everyone can speak to everyone without having anything lost in translation, and it will be easier to travel and no one will be an illegal alien unless they come from space or from the water though I don't see merpeople adapting all that well, and I don't think they'd really go out of their way to get a citizenship paper.

Hate causes problems like war, abuse, discrimination . . . And it's affects are always in front of us. For some reason people think things like that are more interesting, for example on the news, the main headlines are about who's been murdered, war, natural disasters, and how we're all going to die from Global Warming, not about the thousand or so people who have got married that day, a man who stood up for his undeserving wife and forgave her, or the child saved by a mother's bone-marrow donation.

Agreed! Really progressive music has always been that way. Even if they are gone now, take me favourite band PF. When they gained their 'meaning' it was after they switched from the standard 60's style acid rock and started trying out new sounds. Usually progressive bands seem to update their meanings as well as their styles.

Mixed opinion. It's only fun to write a story for school if you can work freelance. Writing stories based on things they give to you annoys the piss out of me. Reading is always fun as long as it isn't a 10,000 page memoir. I'll accept a memoir under 500, but higher and I get bored. I'm too much of a fiction guy I guess.

America needs to stop remaking Japanese horror movies.. and Japan needs to stop making mediocre horror movies for us to remake. (With the exception of Audition [The only movie that still, to date, actually 'horrifies' me.], Uzumaki [not raelly scary, but definitely interesting] and Reincarnation [Probably the only ghosts'n'curses movie that actually surprised me.] even though an american remake of any of these is still likely to be bad. I don't htink the US has the balls to do Audition, Uzumaki is probably considered too abstract. Since Reincarnation was made by the same guy who did the Japanese and the American version of The Grudge, I'm sure it's probably being remade...)
