I might have mentioned Crimethink here at some point in the past, but I thought you'd all like to know that the print edition finally came out. All proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders, which is a good thing in my book.
In any case, the book is $6.99 (plus shipping, technically) and you can buy it through this link (http://crimethinksf.blogspot.com/2010/09/print-edition-now-available.html) (or on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Crimethink-Politics-Speculative-Megan-Arkenberg/dp/1453756809/ref=sr_1_6?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285426559&sr=8-6)).
The book contains essays by Jay Lake, Gary Westfahl, Deborah Walker, Nisi Shawl, Greg Beaty, Romie Stott, Lisa Agnew, Ross Hamilton, Jordan Humphreys, and myself. Anyone in the specfic world knows at least some of those names. If you don't know who they are, then all you need to know is that Crimethink is a collection of essays on the intersection of politics and speculative fiction. My essay talks about District 9 and the re-imagined V.
So, if you have a few bucks to spare, please consider getting a copy to support a good cause.
I will shut up now...
