First post. Wooot. That shouldn't be exciting, it's just a sign of my empty life...

Yeah, anyway... You've already posted something, I see, which is always good.

Make sure you follow the rules and critique guidelines, which will make your stay here so much more enjoyable. Otherwise we'd have to set.... the Alice on you. *Gasp*

Rules (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/rules.php/)

Guidelines (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/critiques.php/)

There you go. Hope you have a nice time, posting stuff and reading stuff and ohh the joys of creativity.

Anyway, it's time for some ritual questions. Initiation and the like.
What do you write?
What do you read?
What do you like to listen to, musicwise?
What's your favourite colour?
Favourite place?
How do you feel about cages?

M'okay. Have fun. Let me know if you need anything...

EDIT: You have NO idea how long it took for me to rename the links. BUT I DID IT!

So... Clarissa pretty much said/asked everything, which doesn't leave me with much to say except: Welcome to YWO! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or one of the other staff members, found here (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/showgroups.php). So hope you like it here, and what genres do you write?

Hi, sorry for repeating the post. I used it for someone else, but I've decided I don't have the time to do a totally new one.

'Ello, 'ello, 'ello, what do we have here? Another newbie? I'm sure someone mass produces them them using giant machines situated in the north west of the Antarctic. Okay, now that the strange part of my post is done, let me continue on in a relatively normal manner.

Now, please answer all of the questions above, that the other members have so kindly asked, and please answer me this...
What religion do you worship?
What interests do you have?
D you feel indie music has more meaning to it than Mainstream?
Who,what,why,when, and how are you?
Now, If you would so kindly excuse me, I'm late for a tea party with the Mad Hatter. Tonight's very special, as we've invited the Turtle and Griffin over.

Too-doodle ooh!

Well, thanks for all the warm welcomes!

- As for what I write, It's strictly fantasy and poetry. I'm not all that good, in my opinion, but i'm becoming stronger.

- what do I read? anything I can get my hands on. I prefer fantasy teen Novels and James Patterson crime novles, but i'm not all that picky.

-I adore rock music. none of that hard-core screamo. Gothic is good. and a little country here and there.

-My favourite colour is green. any shade will do.

-My favourite place is curled up on my bed.

-Cages? i'm claustrophobic. i hate them.

-I'm not really a religious person. Not athiest or anything, It just doesn't effect my life.

-what interests do i have...? I play the violin, I'm captain of my high school colour guard, I re-enact the civil war, and i write.

-I do feel indi has more feeling. It's a little darker, and you can tell some effort was put into the lyrics.

-Who am I? i'm a 15 year old gir. my name is Melanie. I'm very tired at the moment.

I hope that answers all questions satisfactorily!! Ugh, I love !! but they make me sound peppy and annoying. I'm not really like that. really. XD

Okay, firstly, I love Fantasy. Not so keen on poetry though. I love fantasy novels and writing it.

Also, ROCK FOREVER! Especially Indie Rock, or even Punk.

Greens Good, Blacks Better.

Same here. I just can't get out of it in the morning.

I can't stand small places either. Cages scare me. :(

Religion fascinates me, as it has basically formed the world you see around you.

I used to play the violion, it sounded like a cat being tortured. :P Colour Guard? English Civil War?

Indie Forever!

Nice to meet you, 15 year old Melanie. Get some sleep. I think sleep is vital to a human.

HI!!! Welcome to :ywo: . I don't really have much else to say on that.

I add u's to my words like colour and favourite, ect. I like the way it looks. :)

*nods in agreement* Though I spell everything British-ly (totally not a word, oh well Shakespeare made up words) because a. I like to pretend I'm British (as in when I'm really out of it I lapse into a British accent... or so I'm told) b. I have a friend who thinks she's a British school boy (which doesn't help) and c. One of my other friends if from Jamaica which is British territory. So yeah, too many British influences for me not to spell that way, but I agree it looks much better. (As does -re instead of -er. Ex, centre, theatre)
