I heard however, that before he acted out as the Joker, he became a bit insane so he could fit the role. He locked himself up in a hotel room for several weeks or something like that. Does this have to do with what just happened at 3:30pm today?

But he was going to be AWESOME in The Dark Knight, which is the sequel to Batman Begins.

Yeah...have you read the Yahoo news report on him? Apparently, he's won a few awards, yet he hasn't been involved in as much scandal as the other stars.

What a let down. The idiots survive, and the good ones die. Life ain't fair :(

It seems like an overdose, I'm not sure why he would do it, and it is sad, but it is also curious to me.

I hope he goes out with a bang with his performance as the joker though.

It is finished. It was his last film, he was in the middle of filming another movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" and he didn't get to finish that one.
