I'll start this with a good not, like a usually do; I thought this book was amazing. I had excelent prose, believable characters and a completely unique setting!
The story line went from one twist to the next, and when you think you can't beat Traction Cities that 'eat' eachother, he throws in an extreme version of the Green Party! Not to mention women that can kick ass while fully dressed!
It was definatly something I would read again if I had the time.

In my opinion, it was fantasic, like all things, there NEEDS to be flaws in order for it to be a true work of art ;)
Some of the history the lead to the creation of the Traction cities wasn't that clear in all truths, and could have been expanded on... and some of the character names were just UNPRONOUNCABLE! Like some of the cities in the 'Green' section. The main weapon in the end could have been described better, I just couldn't picture it in all honesty.
I think these are only small set backs for me, and it used language that was both natuarl and very inspiring for me.
It deserves more attention than it already has, because its a book I highly recomend for all ages. Its fast paced, but not to the point that you've gone from one location to the next in the equivalent of two pages.
It is one of my favourite books which was recomended to me by an old friend of mine.

As always, it could improve on some of the location names, a bit more description here and there, but other wise for me it was spot on for its genre.
These are my opinions and you do not have permission to change them :D However, be free to express your opinions in a polite manor XD
