Checking in.
Hey, the name's Pippa. I'm currently reading Joyce's The Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Man. I'm a fan of the horror genre. There doesn't seem to be a lot of good reading material out there with that genre. Pity that. Poe's a good fall back for it though, you might imagine. And he is, he really is. Edgar's been good to me, however frightening.
I write because it's... an adventure, it's cathartic, it's amazing. I can explore through writing. Lately, I've been experiencing a lack of motivation, a lack of feeling. Hopefully this place will lasso all that and bring it in tight so I can get back on track.
It's a pleasure.

Shut up bookworm, I've known Pippa for a while. Don't you have romantic issues to make threads on teenage writing sites over?
The poetry section needs some new life, so glad you're here Pipp
Also, if I ever improve, can we be a team? Like Pipp and Pepp? See I let you go first out of affection.

And don't you have seduction dances to do?

I can't make out whether that is an insult or a compliment. If you'd like me to seduce you, get in line.
Hello, and welcome.
I read Edgar Allan Poe all the time, he rocks!
He's my favorite author/poet. :)
Anyway, enjoy your stay. Hopefully, you'll get to writing again. ^ ^

Oh wow, a newbie who can string together a coherent sentence. This one's a keeper, thus far.
I'm Jordan. How's it going?

Sho' will nancy, sho' will.
And Pepp/Omni, must say, it's nice to finally see some other "working girls" here... if you know what I mean. And, that'd be pretty shveet. Pipp and Pepp. Has a nice ring to it. It'd be fun. Er, unless you were reaalllly pulling my chain last night and you're not Omni.
lostbookworm, can I call you "books"? I'll put it in quotes every time I'm referring to you and not actual books. Would that be cool with you? Your name is kind of a mouthful, and I'm bound to typo it at some point. It must really be a bother when you're logging in huh?
Thanks Maj. I'm looking forward to seeing your work because I don't think I've ever seen it before. What do you write?
Well, Rose, E.A.P. is the only poet I read much of. I've explored Cummings briefly, and only Joyce's prose-- which, as he is amazing to me, I'm biased, but will say has great flow and could be mistaken for poetry. If even it could be considered a mistake. Maybe Poe will remain my favorite, but I sure need to do more reading. Someone once told me that there are no writers that are not readers as well. Maybe that's my problem. I need to read more.
Flattering, Jordan. Thank you. I'm pretty good. I actually just woke up, and it's 1:40 PM over here, give or take a few minutes because my computer's clock isn't really on track. My arm is also pulsing, and hasn't stopped pulsing since... Sunday? Yeah, Sunday. It's kind of annoying, kind of cool. So, I guess I'm feeling kind of annoyed, but fixated and interested. An odd combination, eh? ...I tend to babble, by the way.
How are you?

Huh. Wit's End is a real place. I must go there for my mid-life crisis.
Welcome. :)

Probably not. It was on TW a long while back, but that stuff was... painful to read. Even most of the stuff I've got here now is just eh. Most of it is from last year, because I refuse to post unfinished things. Eventually I'll get around to posting my more recent stuff, though by then it'll be old as well.
As for what I write, it's fantasy novels. That is all. Seriously, though, I spend most of my time writing novels, and now the editing is building to an overwhelming pile. I hate editing.

You remind me of someone. Your interests do, anyway. I'm just meandering through life, as you do. Acting like I do care, when I really don't give a shit. Y'know, the pessimist's way of thinking.

You'd have fun, Space, it's a blast.
We've all our own hitches, Maj. I'm in a rut with writing lately, so, cheers I suppose.
Sounds like strict pessimism, Jordan. The world's a stage.

L.O.L. But stop it, both of you.
Welcome to YWO Pippa. I look forward to you.
That's fuckin' weird.

That is true. Thank you. Is Pippa your real name? Even if it is just a username, I like it. I've always intended to write about a character named Pippa but I never actually did. I may just do that.

A story book name, isn't it? Or it seems. But yes. Born and raised Pippa.
