I guess I don't need to say my name as you can see it yourself to the left, but I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 17 and used to love writing poetry and prose but have recently been struck with a terrible, seemingly incurable bout of writer's block. I am hoping this website and maybe talking with others will help as I am going to be a high school senior in late August, and do not want to enter my advanced English class with my head in the place it is now.

Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope being on here shall be a fine experience. :mellow:

I am somewhat offended by that, even though it wasn't directed towards me. Okay, I'm not really, but you know.

It is nonexistent, but you can make it real, too, I suppose. If you manage to convince yourself that you have writers' block, then you just got yourself some writers' block.

HI Fool [<---Not an intended insult :D], and welcome to :ywo:! I hope you enjoy it here and it eliminates your writers' block! I, myself, am suffering from it at the moment. Apparently, for some, it works to write a letter to said writers' block as a goodbye. As in, "Dear Writers' Block,". It feels stupid, but it works...sometimes. ^^
So what genres do you like to read and write?
