Welcome the the beginning of the National Young Writers Online Awards everyone. This event should not be used as a way to obtain bragging points, for it should be used to recognize some of our wonderful members. When you make a nomination, please think fairly and don't Nominate people just because you like them. Nominate them because you think they deserve the award, whether you like the person or not, but then again, it all revolves around the choice you make! You don't have to be apart of this event if you don't wish to be, but from the info i got on the YWO Awards thread, I can tell this will a good event to have. Before we continue, I would like for us to recognize GeorgeMichael, who brought this idea to life on the site.

When the voting begins, how do we prevent people from voting for themselves. Or is that only prevented in the nominations?
