You may have noticed that your post count has dropped. Andy and I would like to explain what happened and to assure you that we didn't delete any of your posts.
We've noticed that the random games forum has been exploding with activity. There are thousands of posts in there and when it comes to giving prizes for people that post the most, we thought it would be unfair to allow posts in that forum section to count. The reasons are as follows:
1. Technically, stuff that happens in there really doesn't add to the site. It's more like random stuff that doesn't really further writing or offer anything of significant value. They're basically fun.
2. Because the games are so simple, posts add up like mad. You could get a few hundred posts just on that word reminder game.
3. It just isn't fair to people who post mostly in the literature forums or in discussion areas. They might post a lot, but their posts take a long time, etc.
Please take note:
We're not removing the random games, we're not punishing you for going there, we're simply trying to even the playing field for people that don't post there. We like that the random games are active, but we think that the site isn't primarily geared towards that and should be more geared towards writing.
Does anyone have questions? Does what this says make sense? We're not mad or being mean, just trying to be fair.

No problem for me! :D
I just wanna be active...
NO SHAUN YOU'RE BEING MEAN AND YOU HURT MY FEELINGS BY DELETING MY AMAZING POST! XD
I am just kidding, no problem, this makes sense.:)
EDIT: I would like to point out that now Raffy has more posts than me...

Well we hoped it would even things out. It really didn't have too much of an effect, but so be it. Maybe we'll turn off the Co-op stuff next time :P
I just think it's a bit unfair since we didn't know it from the beginning but so be it.

Hrmm, that's a good point. Maybe we should have brought it up somewhere ahead of time. I thought we did, but I can't remember.
Sorry about that Nyx. We had always intended to do it eventually though, but I guess we should have made it more clear. If it helps, you're still one of the top posters and we appreciate your activity, and obviously you don't post only in the random stuff. You're involved in a lot of areas, and that's a great thing.
Edit: Raf, I was joking :P

She's even more active than me. She's also one of the most thanked and top thread-starters! :D
What, no I'm not more active than you Raffy!
And don't worry about it Shaun, I don't really mind, it's fine. I'm active for the sake of it, because I like YWO but I don't really care about the posts. It's a good thing anyways, random games shouldn't make a non-contributing member one of the top-posters. I'm just saying a warning would've been good but it doesn't matter now.:)

I'm not bothered about post count, all you get is a better name, which doesn't count to anything. :D Well done, Shaun and Andrew.
And Nyx, you spam way more than Raf. :P
I highly doubt we'll do this to any other sections. Random Games is the only section where creativity and intelligent conversation are for the most part absent. :)

Oh don't be too sure Andy. I have ideas to make all the literature forums not count anymore...and eventually have the debate area be the only one that adds up :P.
j/k!!!

As Shaun said, don't be too sure, Andrew. SBS is quite a good way to be creative, if you're the narrator. :D

Well this won't have impacted my post count at all ... 'cept maybe SBS ...

Welll, SBS is only creative when you're the narrator.
But when you're the narrator, you're very creative.

So now when we post there will it just not count or something?

Ouch.

Yep. It doesn't count anymore when you post in random games:)
