I'm writing my first longer work in English (had a 60-page novella before), it's an Age of Sail-themed novel. I can't use my native language because of the lack of naval slang.
Otherwise? No, I'm not some dark person, just love Discworld. ;)

Death?! Ah, it's such an honor to meet you! I'm such a big fan of it. *shakes hand* Hahaha.
Hey, I'm Will, and welcome to the site. So, how long have you been writing? What sort of novels do you like to read?
As you can see from above, I'm one to make corny jokes, so remember to look 8 ways before making a sandwich. ;)

I've been writing basically since I learned to write, but more seriously in the last 4-5 years. And I switched to English lately.
Genres I like? Historical novels (partly the long, epic 19th century classics), humour, plays (tragedies with a lot of stabbing and poisoning, preferably), mythology, some kinds of sci-fi, tricky mysteries that require a lot of literary knowledge to comprehend, and magic realism.

Ooh, I read a good historical fiction novel a few weeks ago -- it's called 'The Street Philosopher' by Matthew Plampin and it's set around the time of the Crimean War in the mid-19th Century. :)
What tragedys have you read? I'm currently doing Agamemnon and the Medea in Classics and they're alright. Bit extreme though . . .
Anyhoo, welcome to the site. :)

Thanks!
I'm Hungarian. We don't have a sea, so no naval tradition either.

I must say that when I saw your name was Death, I was a little worried.
You seem alright though. Props for not being what I expected.
Hello, I'm Klon. Nice to meet you.
